The conversation that follows is short and useful. You explain what you are trying to achieve; I tell you how I can help, what the work involves, and what it will cost. Where the scope fits one of my fixed-fee services, you will have a price the same day. Where the work needs to be tailored, I will scope it carefully and quote accordingly.
Once you accept the quote, I will send a client care letter and terms of business via DocuSign, together with a short identity check that solicitors are required to carry out. As soon as those are returned, the work begins.
I turn matters around promptly and work to your deadlines. I am equally comfortable starting from a clear brief or from a position where the details are still emerging. There is no need to wait until you have everything ready. Getting in touch early is usually the better move, and the call itself often sharpens the question.
