I am a solicitor of England and Wales, qualified in 2008, with over two decades of business experience, including in-house and private practice roles, before going freelance. When you instruct me, I am the person doing the work. Not an associate, not a paralegal, not a team that I will hand the file to later. You have my contact details from the outset.
The fees are predictable. Most of my work is offered on a fixed-fee basis, with the price set before the work begins. Where a matter genuinely needs to be billed by time, I scope it carefully and tell you what to expect. Either way, you know where you stand.
This site is both my practice's shopfront and my media site, and everything on it is written by me. In a world increasingly filled with AI-generated content, I think genuine human writing is becoming more valuable, not less. Reading the writing is the easiest way to decide whether I am the right solicitor for your matter. Far more useful, I think, than a brochure of credentials.
The approach is commercial. Having spent a long time in-house, as well as private practice, I know that legal advice is most useful when it is delivered in time to be acted on, sized to the situation, and clear about what matters. That is the standard I aim for on every matter.
